There used to be an oft-repeated saying in the Leasehackr community: “Audis don’t lease well.”

Well, in 2020, we’ve definitely seen an improvement in Audi deals — to the point where they’re comparable to deals from BMW and Mercedes-Benz, the German brand’s primary competition. For example, here are two excellent deals on Audi’s best-selling SUV, the Q5.

For California, we are highlighting a Q5 55 e deal, offered by @EZAutoGroup, while for the New York metro area, we are highlighting a SQ5 deal, offered by @stellarauto. Both of these models offer greater performance than the standard Q5, but differ in how they accomplish this feat.

The Q5 55 e is a plug-in hybrid with an electric motor that boosts maximum output by over 100 horsepower (0-60 in 5.0 seconds). The SQ5 offers comparable grunt (0-60 in 5.1 seconds) through an extra pair of cylinders (3.0-liter V6) rather than electric wizardry.

These two deals are valid through November 30, 2020, or until sold, whichever comes first. Both deals assume maximum MSDs (Multiple Security Deposits) and inception fees upfront, but no capitalized cost reduction (i.e., down payment). Drive-off estimates include first month’s payment, registration fees, and document fees.
