SIGNED! Deal of the Month: 2023 Mercedes EQS Sedan for $669/Month

The SIGNED! Deal of the Month for April is a 2023 Mercedes-Benz EQS 450 4MATIC Sedan lease shared by Leasehackr reader @dknj23 from New Jersey.
Despite an MSRP of $113,090, @dknj23 is paying just $669 per month to lease Mercedes-Benz’s flagship EV sedan. This is technically a $0 down payment lease, but after the bank acquisition fee, document fee, and state registration fee, it ends up being $2,378 due at signing, plus a refundable security deposit of $8,000 (more on that later).
While EQS prices have crept up from last month (see: How to Get “the” Mercedes EQS Deal), this deal is still very strong — particularly for a vehicle as luxurious as the EQS.
This deal is possible because @dknj23 qualified for three rebates from Mercedes totaling $12,500: a $7,500 EV incentive available to all, a $1,500 EV conquest incentive for current EV owners, and a $3,500 Affinity Fleet Program incentive.
Additionally, he bought down the money factor (i.e., the interest rate for a lease) by utilizing Mercedes-Benz Financial Services’s multiple security deposit program. The $8,000 refundable security deposit resulted in over $100 per month saved in rent charge — not a bad ROI, if you have the cash.
Finally, the dealer discounted the vehicle by 18% off MSRP pre-incentive, which is among the highest we’ve seen. In all likelihood, the dealership lost money on this unit in order to meet a volume-based bonus from the manufacturer.
