Next year, Hyundai will launch Genesis, a new luxury brand aimed squarely at the likes of Lexus and Infiniti. The lineup will initially consist of two cars: G80, a midsize luxury sedan that's currently sold as the Hyundai Genesis, and G90, the all-new flagship with Mercedes-Benz S-Class in its crosshairs.

Even with its humble Hyundai badge, which many replace with the Genesis winged emblem, the current Genesis sedan is a legitimate luxury contender. It rides on a dedicated rear-wheel drive platform (all-wheel drive optional) and comes with levels of equipment you expect from a car of this class. And now, thanks to increased incentives, you can lease a nicely equipped Genesis sedan for mainstream money. 

Lease Program - Valid Through July 5, 2016

The cost of leasing a particular car is determined by its lease program, which is set by the manufacturer, and the selling price, which is set by the dealer. Here is Hyundai Motor Finance's current lease program for 2016 Genesis sedan assuming top tier credit:

Subtract 1% from the residual value for 12,000 miles per year. Subtract 3% from the residual value for 15,000 miles per year. Here are the incentives currently available nationwide:

Selling Price

A 2016 Genesis with Signature Package (adds panoramic roof, heated and cooled seats, blind spot detection, and more) has an MSRP of $43,600. In Los Angeles, the average selling price of that model is $41,300 before incentives. The lowest selling price currently offered by a dealer on a car shopping site is $39,030 before incentives.

On Leasehackr Forum, readers are reporting around $4,000 off MSRP, with even greater discounts on demo cars. Your selling price will vary depending on location and available inventory.
