Summer is just around the corner, and for some folks, that means it's convertible season. Jeep's versatile Wrangler—it's equally at home on the Rubicon Trail and the streets of West Hollywood—has always been a fabulous open-roofed option. Now it turns out Wrangler is a great lease to boot, thanks to ridiculously good residual values on Unlimited Sport and Freedom models. 

Lease Program - Valid Through May 31, 2016

The cost of leasing a particular car is determined by its lease program, which is set by the manufacturer, and the selling price, which is set by the dealer. Here is Chrysler Capital's current lease program for 2016 Wrangler Unlimited assuming top tier credit:

As for incentives, Chrysler is offering $500 in Military Cash Allowance. No lease cash or other offers available; Wrangler is popular as-is and doesn't need any help.

Selling Price

A base 2016 Wrangler Unlimited Sport with an automatic transmission has an MSRP of $30,040. In Los Angeles, the average selling price of that model is $29,900 before incentives. The lowest selling price currently offered by a dealer on a car shopping site is $28,900 before incentives.

On Leasehackr Forum, readers outside of California are reporting as much as 12% off MSRP. Your selling price will vary depending on location and available inventory.
