Cheapest (Midsize) Seven-Seater This Month: GMC Acadia for $260/Month, $0 Down

How is this lease possible?

Through July 31, 2019, GM is offering generous customer incentives on Acadia, including $3,250 in Lease Bonus Cash and $250 in Limited Term Bonus Cash. Additionally, current lessees of non-GM vehicles are eligible for a $2,000 conquest incentive. That’s $5,500 in customer incentives in total!

GM Financial has set the residual value of 2019 GMC Acadia SLE at 55% of MSRP (assuming 36 months at 10,000 miles per year). The promotional money factor is .00079, which is equivalent to 1.89% APR.

How can I get this lease?

We would aim for a selling price of at least 7 percent off MSRP. Click here to see a sample lease of a 2019 GMC Acadia SLE-1 with an MSRP of $33,995 and a selling price of $31,615, assuming Southern California vehicle registration and use of the conquest incentive. It translates to $260 per month plus tax with $0 down payment.

Note the usual caveats apply. Your actual deal will vary based on the discount offered by your dealer and the credit tier you qualify for. Some incentives may vary depending on location, and programs change each month.

The best strategy is to obtain quotes by email or phone from multiple dealers in your area and to research and discuss your deal on Leasehackr Forum.

Our Take

GMC’s Acadia is a perfectly usable, if unremarkable, crossover SUV. We would rank it mid-pack, behind class leaders like Kia Telluride and Subaru Ascent, but in front of relics like Dodge Journey and Nissan Pathfinder. Those looking for more space should consider its corporate cousin, Chevrolet Traverse, and Volkswagen’s Atlas, both of which will cost more to lease.

That said, if you’re after value, Acadia is hard to beat, and the GMC badge may even connote luxury to some folks.

Note: We were notified that, technically, the compact Volkswagen Tiguan has seven seats as well and is an even cheaper lease. We’ve updated the title to clarify that we mean seven-seat midsize SUVs.
