Get a Subaru Deal During the Car Shortage by Joining ASPCA
Check out this recently signed deal by Leasehackr member @fronk on a 2022 Subaru Impreza.
While Leasehackr often favors leasing, we think the right decision was made here to finance this Impreza, rather than to lease it.
Subaru’s historically hold their value extremely well, often better than their posted lease residual value. Furthermore, the finance rate offered by Subaru Motors Finance (Chase) in this case was lower than the lease money factor (1.9% versus 3%).
The key to getting this deal was an American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) membership, which gets you access to Subaru VIP pricing (2% below invoice). Since most Subaru dealers hardly have any inventory due to the global semiconductor shortage, @fronk ordered the vehicle and had to wait five weeks before taking delivery.
Note that not every Subaru dealer will accept VIP pricing, so it pays to shop around. Read more about this deal, including the ASPCA Subaru VIP program, through the button below.
