Woah! Lease A Ford Fusion For $153/Month, $0 Down ($132/Month For Grads) (Expired)
Program valid through January 4, 2016.
The lease program on the 2016 Ford Fusion is pretty awesome right now. The numbers below are for California, but they're comparable in New York and other regions as well. Here's what you need to know.
The 2016 Fusion SE has a retail price of $24,555. Aim for a selling price of $22,107 before incentives (that's the price offered on a popular car buying site with all incentives deselected, assuming a Southern California zip code; it's $1,000 below invoice).
In California, there are two incentives available: $3,650 in Red Carpet Lease Customer Cash and $300 in 1st Month Red Carpet Lease Cash.
After the incentives and Ford Credit's $645 acquisition fee, the net capitalized cost drops to $18,802. Ford estimates the Fusion is worth $15,224 (62% of MSRP) after 24 months of use at 10,000 miles per year. Therefore the total depreciation expense is $3,578, or $149 per month.
For customers in California, the interest rate on the lease is 0.25% APR, which results in a monthly finance charge of $4. Total monthly payment? $153 per month.
Here's what you should expect when all is said and done. We've added in Los Angeles County sales tax (9%), license/registration, and fees. Program valid through January 4, 2016.
Recent college grads qualify for an additional $500 incentive, which would lower the lease to $132 per month. Alternately, current lessees of non-Ford cars qualify for a $250 incentive, which would result in a lease of $142 per month.
In New York, Ford Credit's interest rate on Fusion SE is 3.0%. Residuals are the same nationally, but there are $3,750 in general incentives ($3,250 Customer Cash and $500 Bonus Cash). The Competitive Lease Conquest Cash incentive is $1,000. Assuming the same selling price of $22,107, the lease would be $157 per month (with the conquest incentive) in New York.
