If you browse Leasehackr Forum, you’ll see that the vast majority of deals — and indeed, users — are in California or the Northeastern U.S.
There are a few factors for this, but mainly it’s because of the population density and concentration of dealers in these regions, which result in more competition, higher volumes, and lower prices. Finding a deal in other parts of the country, like the South or Pacific Northwest, can be much more difficult due to less dealer competition within the metropolitan areas of those states.
When it comes to the Midwest, it’s a mixed bag. Leasehackr-worthy deals are possible, but they’re largely focused on domestic brands. There’s no better example than this excellent RAM 1500 deal from @AutoByAlex, valid through November 30, 2020, in Northeast Ohio:

While the sky-high manufacturer suggested retail prices (MSRP) of pickups is, frankly, shocking, there could be tens of thousands of dollars in available incentives depending on where you live, which drastically bring down their actual cost.
Both of these RAM 1500 deals have a Leasehackr Score, which is a ratio of the vehicle MSRP to the total cost of the lease, of over 11 years. RAM 1500 is Leasehackr’s favorite half-ton pickup, offering a rumbly Hemi V-8 along with surprisingly refined road manners.
If you were in the market for a pickup, which one would you choose?
