How to Get a Tesla Model 3 Now!

  • Autonomy is a new car subscription app that just launched in Southern California.

  • Cut the line: Autonomy is offering limited inventory of in-stock 2021 Tesla Model 3s to Leasehackr readers for priority reservation, in time for the holidays.

Leasehackr is partnering with Autonomy to offer our readers exclusive early access to Autonomy’s car subscription service.

By reserving through the link below, you can get behind the wheel of a Tesla Model 3 in as little as one week—compared to the 10 month wait if you ordered a base Model 3 today, according to Tesla.

As the first subscribers to Autonomy, you’ll drive a nearly new car. Autonomy’s first batch of Tesla Model 3 sedans are 2021 models, all under 500 miles. Supplies are limited at launch, but through this exclusive scoop, you’ll be at the front of the queue.

Reserve your spot before everyone else for only $100. Reservations are refundable.

Who is Autonomy good for?

People who need a car now
Due to the global vehicle shortage, finding a car to buy can be difficult. Autonomy offers near immediate access to one of the most sought-after vehicles, a Tesla Model 3, through a monthly subscription.

People who want mobility with less commitment
Get access to mobility without committing to a multi-year lease or loan. We find that Autonomy offers more flexibility than a lease—the subscription can be canceled after three months—while costing less than a car rental. A shorter term subscription service can be a good option for folks transitioning between leases.

People who want to avoid additional debt
As a subscription rather than a loan, Autonomy does not increase the debt shown on your credit report. Autonomy does not run a hard credit inquiry, which is great if you plan on applying for a mortgage, for example, and want to minimize your debt-to-income ratio.

People curious about electric vehicles
By subscribing to a Tesla Model 3, you get to go on an extended test-drive of a world-class electric car. Experience effortless acceleration and see what the gas savings add up to. The subscription could also be a good option if you’ve ordered a Tesla but need a vehicle for the months-long wait.

Southern California only
At launch, Autonomy is only available in Southern California.

Pricing

The cost of Autonomy’s subscription for Tesla Model 3 depends on the Start Fee you choose.

Autonomy offers a sliding scale for its Model 3 monthly subscription, ranging from $550 to $1,000, with the Start Fee ranging from $1,000 to $5,500.

Based on our analysis, if you intend on keeping the vehicle for more than 10 months, going with the $550 monthly subscription will be the least-expensive option, even though the Start Fee is the highest at $5,500. Those terms are most comparable to a Tesla lease but with the added benefit of getting the car now.

If you prefer flexibility and anticipate canceling sooner than 10 months, then it makes more sense to start with a lower Start Fee option.

All vehicle registration costs and routine maintenance are included in the subscription. The subscriber is responsible for insurance and sales tax. A $500 security deposit is required (the $100 reservation fee is applied towards the deposit).
