Signed! 2022 Lamborghini Urus: $4,784/Month, $20K DAS
If you’ve ever wondered what it costs to lease an exotic vehicle, and whether it makes any sense, then check out this lease signed by Leasehackr member @ethanrs on a 2022 Lamborghini Urus SUV.
At first glance, this is truly a terrible deal with a Leasehackr Score of just 4.4 years—one of the lowest we’ve seen from a reader’s submission. The total cost over the course of the lease is a whopping $216,144. A year ago, you could have leased an entire fleet of 36 Chevrolet Bolt EVs from @ethanrs for approximately the same cost.
From a numbers perspective, we think 36 Bolt EVs is certainly superior to one Urus—you get 7,236 horsepower compared to the mere 641 horsepower on tap in the big Lambo truck.
What’s more, the Bolt EV qualifies for HOV lane access in multiple states, whereas the Urus does not. In fact, we’re struggling to think of any metric where a Lamborghini Urus beats 36 Chevrolet Bolt EVs.
(All kidding aside, check out this trending conversation on Leasehackr Forum to see the real reason @ethanrs leased a Lamborghini Urus, and how it’s actually quite a good deal for him after all.)
