Launched in the U.S. last year, Volvo’s C40 Recharge—an all-electric, all-wheel drive SUV coupe—hasn’t exactly set sales records.

While cleverly designed with thoughtful aesthetic touches throughout, the C40 Recharge’s more, shall we say, qualitative attributes get lost in the numbers game against industry leader Tesla, which offers more space and more range for less money.

To boost sales, Volvo is offering a mid-month lease incentive enhancement on C40 Recharge through May 1, 2023. On top of the $7,500 Lease Bonus Cash commonly offered for EV leases, Volvo is providing an additional $5,000 in lease cash specifically for C40 Recharge inventory.

When combined with a dealer discount and conditional incentives that you may qualify for, Volvo C40 Recharge can be a compelling, left-field option for less dough than what Tesla charges to lease a Model 3 or Model Y.
