Costco Member Incentive Hack: Lease a 2026 VW Tiguan for $273/Month, $0 Down

Volkswagen just dropped a new incentive for Costco members.

Current members who joined before June 20, 2026, are eligible for bonus incentives on the 2026 Volkswagen Tiguan, Atlas, and Atlas Cross Sport as follows: ‍

  • $1,250 for Costco Executive members

  • $1,000 for Costco Gold Star & Business members

The incentives alone won't guarantee a killer deal, but combine them with a strong dealer discount (or a Pre-Negotiated Deal) and the results can be excellent.

Not currently a Costco member? There is a loophole—just keep reading.

Example: VW Tiguan From $273/Month, $0 Down

This month, Leasehackr has several Pre-Negotiated Deals on the 2026 Volkswagen Tiguan for Southern California and the Northeast.

Take, for example, this deal in Los Angeles — with the $1,250 Costco Executive member incentive applied:

  • Vehicle: 2026 Volkswagen Tiguan S FWD

  • MSRP: $33,224

  • Lease: $273/mo + tax

  • Due at Signing: $0 down payment + 1st payment & fees (est. $2,599 in CA)

  • Term: 36 months / 10K miles per year (add $9/mo for 12K)

  • Expires: 7/31/26 or until sold out

To get this exact deal, make a reservation here. As always, excellent credit is required for the best rates.

Not a Costco Member? You May Still Qualify

To qualify for this bonus incentive, you must have been a Costco member before June 20.

But Leasehackr Forum member chunkyraccoon found a loophole: if you reactivate a lapsed Costco membership, your original "member since" date is preserved — making you eligible for incentives that require membership before a certain cutoff date.

Another hack: existing Gold Star and Business members can upgrade to Executive membership during the promotion period and still qualify for the larger $1,250 incentive.

This Costco member-only incentive applies beyond VW, too.

Incentives worth up to $2,000 are currently available on the 2027 Chevrolet Bolt, 2026 Chrysler Pacifica & Voyager, and 2026 Volvo EX30, EX40, & EX90 for Costco members.
