While the base CX-5 Sport starts at $26,545, we suggest the Touring trim, for an MSRP of $28,680 including destination charge.
The Pre-Negotiated Deal for this configuration is simple: $268 per month with $0 down payment. First month's payment, tax, registration, bank fee ($650), document fee ($85), and security deposit (“MSD”) are due at signing. See below for deal sheet summary.
Annual mileage options ranging from 10,000 miles to 15,000 miles are available.

DEAL EVALUATION
Selling Price: The selling price on this Pre-Negotiated Deal CX-5 Touring is 4.7% below MSRP before any incentives—excellent for a popular Mazda SUV with low margins. By contrast, the official Mazda lease special for the CX-5 has only a 1.2% discount off MSRP.
At such a large discount, the Pre-Negotiated Deal dealer is selling the vehicle below cost (about $500 below invoice) in the hopes of meeting a volume bonus this month.
Money Factor: We’ve made sure that the Pre-Negotiated Deal money factor is the same as the buy rate set by Mazda Financial Services: .00030 (0.72% APR). There is no markup on the money factor. Some dealers advertise a bigger discount off MSRP, but make up for it with inflated finance charges. This is called “back-end” profit, which can end up costing you more.
Document Fee: The document fee is capped at $85 in California. The dealer is not making any additional back-end profit by charging a high document fee, unlike the case with many dealers in other states.

THE FINE PRINT
This Pre-Negotiated Deal is only available for residents of Southern California, subject to availability.
Delivery is included within the Los Angeles metropolitan area. You will save an additional $75 off the drive-off cost of the lease if the vehicle is picked up at the dealership, in lieu of delivery. Deal is valid through March 31, 2021, or until vehicles are sold.
Pre-Negotiated Deal offer is available upon approved credit only. Amount due at signing and monthly payment may vary from the sample California deal sheet shown above depending on vehicle registration location, due to variations in local sales tax rate, registration fee, and tax structure.
At lease end, lessee is responsible for disposition fee of $350 to Mazda Financial Services, $0.15/mile for miles driven in excess of the allotted mileage, and any excessive wear and tear. Excess wear and tear protection may be purchased at additional cost.
Exact vehicle color and configuration are subject to availability. The seller will try its best to assign the customer a car that matches the desired color. If not possible, the customer will be notified and may choose to select another color or forfeit deal reservation.
Comparison between Pre-Negotiated Deal offer and official Mazda lease offer is based on normalizing the official March 2021 Mazda CX-5 lease offer to account for differences in vehicle MSRP ($28,680 versus $26,545, respectively) and customer down payment ($0 versus $2,127). Official Mazda offer requires $330 dealer contribution, which is equivalent to a discount of 1.2% off MSRP.
