THE DEAL!
The deal in question is for the 2021 Audi Q5 Premium 45 TFSI quattro, an upscale luxury SUV. While the base Q5 starts at $44,395, the Pre-Negotiated Deal model has an MSRP of $48,595 including destination charge.
The Pre-Negotiated Deal is simple: $441 per month with $0 down payment. First month's payment, tax, registration, fees, and security deposit are due at signing.
Below are sample deal sheets showing final pricing for a New Jersey resident, including taxes (6.625%) and three years of NJ MVC registration fees ($400). One deal includes a refundable security deposit, while the other deal does not require a security deposit and has a higher monthly payment. The choice is yours!

DEAL EVALUATION
Selling Price: The selling price on this Pre-Negotiated Deal Audi Q5 lease is 9% below MSRP, or 13% below MSRP with incentives applied—excellent for a popular Audi SUV. By contrast, the official Audi lease offer for the Q5 has only a 4.5% discount off MSRP.
At such a large discount, the Pre-Negotiated Deal dealer is selling the vehicle significantly below cost ($1,524 below invoice) in the hopes of meeting a volume bonus this month. We do not expect this same level of discount into the new year as the first quarter is historically slower, and dealers will be chasing gross profit rather than volume.
Money Factor: We’ve made sure that the Pre-Negotiated Deal money factor is the same as the buy rate set by Audi Financial Services: .00034 (0.82% APR), or .00005 (0.12% APR) with a security deposit. There is no markup on the money factor.
Document Fee: The document fee of $499 is above the average document fee of $335 for New Jersey, but this increase is easily offset by the large discount reflected in the selling price.

Audi’s best-selling Q5 has been refreshed for 2021. It’s an upscale luxury SUV that prioritizes style and technology.
Every Q5 comes equipped with LED headlights, blind spot warning, and leather upholstery, while the Pre-Negotiated Deal cars add panoramic sunroof and the Convenience Package. A turbocharged engine and quattro all-wheel drive enhance both dry and wet weather performance.
THE FINE PRINT
This Pre-Negotiated Deal is only available within the Tri-State Region for residents of the following states: New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania. Delivery is available only to a location within a 30-mile radius of the selling dealership and is subject to availability. Deal is valid through December 31, 2020, or until vehicles are sold.
Pre-Negotiated Deal offer is available upon approved credit only. Security deposit amount may vary based on credit score. Amount due at signing and monthly payment may vary from the sample New Jersey deal sheets shown above depending on vehicle registration location, due to variations in sales tax rate, registration fee, and tax structure.
At lease end, lessee is responsible for disposition fee of $495 to Audi Financial Services, $0.25/mile for miles driven in excess of the allotted mileage, and any excessive wear and tear. Excess wear and tear protection may be purchased at additional cost.
Exact vehicle color and configuration are subject to availability. The dealer will try its best to assign the customer a car that matches the desired color. If not possible, the customer will be notified and may choose to select another color or forfeit deal reservation.
Comparison between Pre-Negotiated Deal offer and official Audi lease offer is based on normalizing the official Audi lease offer to account for differences in vehicle MSRP ($48,595 versus $45,495, respectively) and customer down payment ($0 versus $3,099). Official Audi offer requires $2,056 dealer contribution, which is equivalent to a discount of 4.5% off MSRP.
